Time (When?)

Time (When?)

Time, sequence, and duration matter. Consequences take time. Consequences matter.

**CONTEXT:**

**PROBLEM:**

**Problem solving that fails to adequately take time into account will have surprises in store, often unwelcome surprises. So learn how best to account for time.**

**Forces:**

**Ask the question, how long will we care? Let the answers guide the action.**

**Actions:**

Draw a timeline. Use it together. Allow anyone to add to the timeline anything that the feel is relevant. Reflect on medical dictum, "First, do no harm."

In making agreements, it is critical to specify conditions of satisfaction with time specified. Consider designating expected duration with letters: H, D, W, M, Y, G; for hours, days, weeks, months, years, generations.

Expanding conversations. Doing less. Healthier planet. Better lives.
