**PROBLEM:** Remote decision making often fails to meet local needs and wishes. There has been a strong movement to delocalize (centralize) decision making. We don't often have reasoned conversations about where decisions should be made for which issues and which groups.
**THEREFORE:** We should create models and have conversations about decision-making for everything that impacts citizens from their persons to the world and all actual and potential levels of organizing in between.

Where do we have the most opportunity to make the most difference in our lives? We believe the answer lies in the place where we live, our own neighborhood.
