Polycentric Systems

All living systems are polycentric systems. Living systems are made of overlapping subsystems. Parts play roles in multiple processes. When we force hierarchy onto living systems we prune the life out of them.

So design governance (decision making) to accommodate and enhance polycentric relationships.
